News & Press
William “Buck” Strifert has been a defense lawyer since 1983, when he received his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law and returned to his home state of Minnesota to pass the bar.
From 1983 to 1990, Buck worked for Taylor Law Firm, P.A. and handled numerous cases with insurance companies before moving on to set up his own private practice, Strifert Law Firm, L.L.C. By this time, his focus was entirely on handling insurance claims for both plaintiff and defense cases, including no-fault, liability, uninsured motorist, and underinsured motorist claims.
In 2017, Buck joined Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben with more than 30 years of personal injury legal experience. He has met the high standards of the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota State Bar Association for a Certified Civil Trial Specialist.
Buck strives for a settlement, and he is especially good at practicing alternative dispute resolution, though he will litigate when necessary. He has taken more than 120 personal injury cases to court.
Buck is married and has two daughters, and enjoys spending time with his family.
