Attorney Peter Riley Discusses Motorcycle Insurance Coverage on WJON Radio

August 2026

Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben attorney Peter Riley recently spoke with WJON Radio about motorcycle insurance coverage and some of the important differences motorcyclists should understand when reviewing their insurance policies.

During the interview, Peter explained that while Minnesota is a no-fault state for automobiles, the same requirements do not necessarily apply to motorcycles. This can create important differences in the coverage available following a motorcycle accident.

Peter also discussed optional insurance coverages available to motorcyclists and why it is important for riders to understand what their policy provides before an accident occurs. Having the appropriate coverage can make a significant difference when dealing with injuries, medical expenses, and other losses resulting from a crash.

The discussion highlights the importance of reviewing your motorcycle insurance policy, understanding the coverage you have, and considering additional coverage that may provide greater protection in the event of an accident.
