Biography: William K. Strifert

William “Buck” Strifert has been a personal injury attorney since 1983.  After receiving his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law, he returned home to Minnesota to practice law. From 1983 to 1990, Buck worked for the Taylor Law Firm, P.A. in Minneapolis handling insurance claims and lawsuits. He was in private practice from 1990 to 2016 as the Strifert Law Firm, LLC handling personal injury cases throughout Minnesota.  Buck joined the Schwebel Goetz & Sieben firm in 2017 focusing on motor vehicle collisions including no-fault, liability, uninsured and underinsured motorist insurance claims.

Buck has met the requirements to be certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a member of Minnesota Association of Justice, an organization consisting of attorneys representing people injured in all types of accidents or incidents.

Buck strives for a settlement, and he is especially good at practicing alternative dispute resolution, though he will litigate when necessary.  With over 40 years of personal injury experience, he has taken more than 130 personal injury cases to trial.  Buck finds that the most gratifying cases are those where someone is seriously injured and no one will take responsibility.  With each case, he enters into a partnership with his client, working through adversity and sharing in the successes.
