Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben Add Two New Prominent Trial Attorneys

Minneapolis, MN – November 13, 1996 – Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben today announced that William E. Jepsen and Leo M. Daly have joined the firm. Jepsen and Daly will both focuses their practice on personal injury, product liability, and medical malpractice.
Bill Jepsen started his practice of personal injury litigation on Main Street in Stillwater, Minnesota 24 years ago. Since that time, he has limited his practice to representing people who have been severely injured or the families of those who have been killed in accidents. Bill graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1969. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Minnesota in 1972. Bill is heavily involved in community activities, public service, and significant participation in Bar Association activities. He has been listed by the American Research Corporation as “one of the best attorneys in Minnesota” for the past two years. He has been included in the Minnesota Journal of Law & Politics list of super lawyers for the past two years as well. Bill is also a past president of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association. His community activities include membership and officer ship in the Stillwater Jaycee’s, Stillwater Rotary Club and Stillwater Elks Club. He has served on the planning commission and was elected to the City Council in the Village of Marine on St. Croix.
Leo Daly (Lee) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduation from high school in 1966, he was inducted into the United States Air Force where he served aboard a variety of combat aircraft in the Republic of Vietnam. Upon his discharge from military service he traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota and enrolled in the University of Minnesota. He graduated in 1973 with a Degree in Speech Communication. Thereafter, he attended Hamline University Law School and graduated in 1977. Following graduation he practiced law at Daly and McGrath. He joined the Schwebel, Goetz and Sieben staff from 1979 until 1982. In 1982 Lee start a new law firm, Karon, Jepsen & Daly.
Lee has represented accident victims throughout most of his career. In addition, he has maintained close association with the aviation industry and is currently an instrument rated pilot. He has taught aviation law in the professional aviation program at Inver Hills Community College in Inver Grove Heights. He is also a member of the Aviation Section of Association of Trial Lawyers of America. As an avid pilot, and airplane owner, Lee is frequently called upon to fly to remote areas of the Midwest to speak with accident victims.
