Schmitz Named ‘Super Lawyer’

Minneapolis (August 31,2002) Minnesota Law & Politics Magazine has released their annual list of Super Lawyers. Congratulations to Robert J. Schmitz, of the law firm of Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, P.A. for being recognized as one of Minnesota’s top attorneys.
The 2002™ Super Lawyers survey was published in the August-September edition of Minnesota Law & Politics Magazine, produced in cooperation with Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine and Twin Cities Business Monthly. Over 18,000 ballots were sent to randomly selected attorneys across Minnesota. Ballot recipients were asked to vote for the best lawyers they have personally observed in action. Those receiving the distinction of "Super Lawyers" were determined based on the 12,000 responses.
Robert Schmitz was born and raised in the Twin Cities area. He attended the University of Minnesota for his undergraduate training and graduated cum laude from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1980. Bob also enjoys sharing his knowledge with other lawyers by lecturing at numerous continuing legal education designed to introduce lawyers to the complexities of personal injury practice. He has also been appointed as a mediator and arbitrator by various judges and attorneys who respect his insight and understanding of the personal injury field. In addition, Bob has helped establish several standards defining the responsibility of insurance companies to injured individuals through the cases he has taken and successfully argued before the Minnesota Supreme Court.
