Peter Riley Elected President of Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association

Minneapolis, MN – Peter W. Riley, trial lawyer and shareholder of Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, P.A. was recently elected President of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association at its annual meeting August 15, 2003 in Alexandria, Minnesota.

“Peter is an excellent trial lawyer, and an even better spokesperson. The election certainly reflects on his career achievements, trial skills and commitment to excellence,” stated Jim Schwebel, firm president. “We are all very proud of Peter, and are confident in his ability to act as the voice of the MTLA,” Schwebel continued.

The Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association is a group of more than 1,200 attorneys, all of whom represent injury victims. Among all its members are the most prominent and successful plaintiffs’ personal injury trial lawyers in the state. As President, Riley will lead the Association in its continued efforts to preserve and protect the rights of victims of personal injury and wrongful death in the courts and with the legislature.

Peter Riley has more than 25 years of experience in complex civil litigation, including extensive experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability matters. He joined the law firm of Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, P.A. in 1991 and became a partner in 2002. Riley is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and Minnesota State Bar Association.
