Paul Godlewski elected to the Board of Directors Brain Injury Association of Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, November 23, 2005 – – Trial Lawyer Paul E. Godlewski, a shareholder in the law firm of Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, P.A. has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota for a two-year term.

The Brain Injury Association of Minnesota is a Minnesota affiliate of the Brain Injury Association of America. The Brain Injury Association of Minnesota is the only nonprofit organization in the state devoted solely to serving the needs of the 94,000 Minnesotans who live with a disability due to brain injury. A tax-exempt organization, BIA-MN’s mission is to create a better future through brain injury prevention, research, education and advocacy.

Paul E. Godlewski a northeast Minneapolis native began his legal career with a small firm in Columbia Heights, and also served as a public defender after graduating from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1973. During his distinguished career, he has won a number of record-setting settlements and verdicts, including one of the largest verdicts ever returned in Minnesota for a young man with a severe brain injury caused by a defective product. One of his jury trials helped to expand the law that requires manufacturers to warn the public when they discover a defective product has gone to market. Paul lectures at numerous continuing legal education seminars designed to introduce lawyers to the complexities of personal injury litigation.Godlewski limits his practice to plaintiff personal injury, and wrongful death.
