Jim Schwebel’s Dedication to Client Advocacy Recognized by 2026 Minnesota Super Lawyers

July 2026

Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben is proud to announce that attorney Jim Schwebel has been selected for inclusion in the 2026 Minnesota Super Lawyers list, a distinction recognizing outstanding attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  This is his 34th year being named, which is notable since only 5 percent of all Minnesota litigators are named Super Lawyers.

In 1974, Jim Schwebel founded what is now Minnesota’s largest law practice specializing in personal injury litigation.  An additional thirteen attorneys from the firm have been designated 2025 Minnesota Super Lawyers and four additional attorneys have been designated Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Stars, which is a separate ranking category for attorneys who have demonstrated high-level service who are not older than 40 or have practiced law for 10 years or less.

“It is gratifying to have so many of our attorneys acknowledged for their exceptional talent and service to their clients.  This exceptional service to our clients is the bedrock of our 51 years of success,” says Jim.

The list published by Super Lawyer is based upon an external review of legal practitioners built on standards similar to Consumer Reports. The list has an aggregate Minnesota readership of 537,209. Results come from peer nominations, independent research, and third-party feedback. The panel evaluates candidates in 12 categories, such as verdicts, community service, writings, and special certifications.

Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben is a Minnesota-based personal injury law firm dedicated to representing individuals and families affected by serious injuries, wrongful death, and other catastrophic losses.  For over 50 years, the attorneys at the firm have had a long history of advocating for clients securing meaningful results on their behalf.
