Cody Scharpf’s Dedication to Client Advocacy Recognized by 2026 Minnesota Super Lawyers
July 2026
Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben is proud to announce that attorney Cody Scharpf has been selected for inclusion in the 2026 Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, a distinction for attorneys who have demonstrated high-level service who are not older than 40 or have practiced law for 10 years or less. This is her fifth year being named, which is notable since only 2.5 percent of all Minnesota litigators earn a place on the Rising Stars list.
Cody began her career doing defense work for insurance companies but always intended to return to representing injured individuals. After spending a few years working solely on behalf of defendants, which gave her an interesting perspective in what insurance companies were looking for in cases, she wanted to get back to representing individuals who were injured in accidents.
“I enjoy walking clients through the process in a personal injury case and helping them through a stressful time. Knowing that I can guide my clients through the process and take away some anxiety they feel and ensuring they can focus on their recovery is incredibly rewarding,” says Cody.
The Rising Star list published by Super Lawyer is based upon an external review of legal practitioners built on standards similar to Consumer Reports. The list has an aggregate Minnesota readership of 537,209. Results come from peer nominations, independent research, and third-party feedback. The panel evaluates candidates in 12 categories, such as verdicts, community service, writings, and special certifications.
