June 2010

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA (June 28, 2009)The Minneapolis law firm of Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, P.A., represents 34 of the victims and their families who were injured or killed in the collapse of the I-35W Bridge on August 1, 2007.  They have made a motion to amend the complaints to add a claim for punitive damages.  This motion will be heard before Judge Hedlund on July 15, 2010. It is the Schwebel plaintiffs position that defendant URS deliberately disregarded the safety of the people injured and killed by the collapse of that bridge.  Attached is a copy of the memorandum in support of the motion.  Copies of the exhibits supporting this motion are available upon request.  For additional comments or interviews contact Richard Nygaard at 612-344-0328 or rnygaard@schwebel.com.
