October 2002

Minneapolis (Oct 21, 2002) Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, P.A. announced today that three attorneys have been listed in the 2003-2004 edition of ‘The Best Lawyers in America’.

"This prestigious recognition serves as a testament to the talent of SG&S attorneys, their commitment to advancing the legal profession, and more importantly, their constant drive to deliver quality counsel and optimum results to our clients," said Jim Schwebel, Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben’s President, and one of the attorneys listed.

Published biennially since 1983, ‘The Best Lawyers in America’ is widely regarded as the preeminent referral guide to the legal profession in the United States. The best lawyers’ lists represent 27 specialties, 50 states and Washington, DC, and are based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which 15,000 leading attorneys nationwide cast more than half a million "votes" on the legal abilities of fellow lawyers in their respected specialties.

"The fact that has Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben three attorneys, each nominated by colleagues in other firms, certainly underscores the reputation and performance of our firm. We are truly honored to have them as part of the Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben team," concluded Schwebel.

The following are the 3 Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben attorneys who were recognized, including their areas of specialty, in the 2003 – 2004 edition of ‘The Best Attorneys in America’:

In addition, he was appointed by the Court as a member of the Plaintiff’s liability Committee to handle claims for many Minnesotans who lost family members in the Galaxy Airlines crash in Reno, Nevada. Jim brings over 30 years of expertise in the service of his clients and their families who have suffered serious injury or the loss of a loved one.

He returned to Minnesota, and in 1980 joined Schwebel & Associates as a personal injury lawyer. In 1983, he became a principal shareholder and the firm was renamed Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben.

For nearly 20 years, ‘The Best Lawyers in America’ has served as the leading lawyer referral guide to more than 4,000 of the leading law firms in the U.S. and abroad, and more than 1,000 of the world’s largest corporations.
