Brenda Shaw has worked at Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben since 1999. She has Bachelor of Science Degrees in Health, Biology, Physical Education and Elementary Education. Brenda also has her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, and is a Certified Professional Secretary® (CPS®) and a Certified Administrative Professional® (CAP®). She is the president of Horizon Presentations, which conducts seminars and provides post-secondary instruction for preparation of the CPS and CAP international exams. With over ten years of teaching experience and over 20 years experience in the administrative/legal secretary profession, Brenda is well equipped to provide administrative and file management support to two full-time personal injury attorneys. She is professionally affiliated with the International Association of Administrative Professionals® (IAAP®) and will soon be leading her local chapter as president for the third time.
Outside of her professional life, Brenda enjoys spending time with her young grandson and family. She also spends a considerable amount of time working with her dog, a cute Schnoodle named Brandi, a certified therapy dog. Brandi and Brenda regularly visit nursing homes in Eden Prairie. The residents really like to watch Brandi perform the various tricks she has learned. Brandi and Brenda are currently working towards their first Novice obedience title through the United Kennel Club.
