Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben has Gone to the Dogs

May 2012

MARS Needs Motorcycles

In a world that has gone to the dogs, only one law firm is brave enough and experienced enough to put their tires to the pavement. Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, in conjunction with Petco Foundation and Green Veterinary Services, is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Motorcycle Run Supporting Animal Welfare. The event is a perfect match for Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben since several of their attorneys are avid motorcyclists, and Jim Schwebel is a longtime supporter of animal welfare issues. The event will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Fatboys Bar & Grill in East Bethel, Minnesota.

The Event

Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. with entertainer John Tourage, breakfast and raffle ticket sales. The ride begins at 10:30 a.m. and continues until 4:30 p.m., with three stops along the course. After the ride, motorcyclists are invited to enjoy live music by Nerfed to Death, a variety of vendors, a motorcycle stunt show and a doggie kissing booth. After 8, riders can enjoy the After Party with music provided by Wild Hawg Band. Cost is $30 per rider and $15 per passenger, which includes dinner, t-shirt, and After Party admission. Riding fees are waived for riders who raise $150 or more in pledges to help the event. Those who wish to attend the After Party only must pay a $10 cover charge, which goes directly to support animal rescue.

Midwest Animal Rescue Services™

The Midwest Animal Rescue Services™, also known as MARS, is a non-profit organization that rescues and finds homes for dogs and cats. They rescue animals that are homeless or at risk, provide proper medical care and find loving homes for them. They do not have a shelter to house the animals, so they find foster homes for the dogs and cats to live in until they can be adopted. MARS’ mission includes providing the highest quality care to rescued animals and promoting responsible pet ownership. Money raised by this event will go toward rescuing and providing the care these loving animals desperately need.

Motorcycle Accidents

What’s the connection between needy dogs and injured motorcyclists? Both can suffer greatly because of someone else’s carelessness. While motorcyclists have the same rights as automobile drivers, legal actions relating to motorcycle accidents have subtle differences. The experienced Minnesota motorcycle accident attorneys at Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben have over 40 years of experience helping victims of motorcycle accidents and their families get the assistance they deserve. If you or a loved one has been injured, please call 612-377-7777 or 1-800-752-4265 (toll free) for a free consultation.
