Attorney Paul Godlewski presented the Commitment to Service Award from the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota

June 2010

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA (June 15, 2010) – Paul E. Godlewski, a shareholder with the law firm of Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, P.A. was presented the Commitment to Service Award from the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota. Presented by David King, Executive Director of the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota, in appreciation and recognition of Paul’s leadership of the Board and the direction set for the Association. Paul was recognized for his outstanding stewardship of the Association’s affairs and for continuously serving the best interests of the Association, its members and the estimated 100,000 Minnesotans living with a disability as a result of brain injury.

Paul, a northeast Minneapolis native, began his legal career with a small firm in Columbia Heights, and also served as a public defender after graduating from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1973. During his distinguished career, he has won a number of record-setting settlements and verdicts, including one of the largest verdicts ever returned in Minnesota for a young man with a severe brain injury caused by a defective product. One of his jury trials helped to expand the law that requires manufacturers to warn the public when they discover a defective product has gone to market. Paul lectures at numerous continuing legal education seminars designed to introduce lawyers to the complexities of personal injury litigation. Godlewski limits his practice to plaintiff personal injury, and wrongful death.

Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, P. A. is the largest law firm in Minnesota specializing exclusively in personal injury litigation. With 18 lawyers and more than 45 support staff, it provides personal, specialized service from initial investigation through settlement, trial or appeal.
