17 SG&S Attorneys Named Super Lawyer

MINNEAPOLIS (August 1, 2005) – Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, P.A. announces today that 19 attorneys are named as 2005 Minnesota "Super Lawyers" published by Law & Politics magazine.

Four Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben attorneys were singled out by their peers in the Top 100 list: Jim Schwebel, Bill Sieben, Peter Riley and Sharon Van Dyck. Additionally, Bill Sieben was recognized as one of the "Top 10 Minnesota Lawyers" and Sharon Van Dyck was recognized as one of the "Top 10 Women Lawyers".

"Super Lawyer" ballots are sent to more than 18,000 people and 11,000 ballots were counted. A 150-member blue ribbon panel reviews the list and then a selection committee makes the final cuts. Only five percent of Minnesota’s licensed attorneys made the list of "Super Lawyers" for 2005. The list includes lawyers from all regions of the state and all types of practices from large firms to solo practices. It includes lawyers in private practice, public interest lawyers, in-house counsel, prosecutors and public defenders. The 2005 "Super Lawyers" are published in the August issues of Minnesota Law & Politics, Twin Cities Business Monthly and Mpls./St. Paul Magazine.
