Robert Schmitz was born and raised in the Twin Cities area. He attended the University of Minnesota for his undergraduate training and graduated cum laude from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1980.
Bob enjoys sharing his knowledge with other lawyers by lecturing at numerous continuing legal education seminars designed to introduce lawyers to the complexities of personal injury practice. He has also been appointed as a mediator and arbitrator by various judges and attorneys who respect his insight and understanding of the personal injury field.
In addition, Bob has helped establish several standards defining the responsibility of insurance companies to injured individuals through the cases he has taken and successfully argued before the Minnesota Supreme Court.
